poisoning or rabies?
my 5 yr old dog had his last rabies vacc. last year, it was a 3 yr shot.. on friday he began acting weird..nipping at a friend who he knows that came over, he was very anxious and he was ok on satuday. since then he has been urinating all over the house, in his crate and today he isnt eating or drinking much of anything. his nose has swollen up and he is running into things and acting very very strange n growling at us!!could he have possibly been bitten in my yard and i dont no n now he has rabies? or could he have been poisened?this creepy repair man that keeps showing up my house.. my landlord sent him over when i first moved in to fix stuff, he kept hitting on me and i blew it off, neighbors told me he has been sittng in front of my house this week at odd times..could he have put some sort of poison in my yard?could he have gotten bit and gottn rabies when he already has vaccine? vet appt tomorrow cuz animal control said they wanted no part of this if its rabies!(he is 60 lbs)
Glad you called your vet and made an appointment. Make sure to tell the vet exactly what is happening with your pet.
Then call the police, Tell of the strange repair man who is sitting outside of your house at strange hours. Do not let him back in your house. Make sure you keep all your doors and windows locked.
Call your landlord and tell him/her you request a different repairman when one is needed.
